Hi everyone! My name is Mayah, I am a fourth-year Animal Biology student at the University of Guelph and one of the Co-Presidents for CPVMA. This will be my third year as a CPVMA executive and my second as Co-President!
I enjoy spending my free time with my dog, Nemo, or doing yoga! I am originally from Victoria, B.C., and after my undergraduate degree, I hope to attend WCVM in Saskatchewan to work toward my DVM. I love working with both small animals and exotic pets, but as I’ve watched my love for cows grow over the years, my long-term goal is now to work as a mixed-animal veterinarian and eventually pursue an advanced research degree focused on large animal health.

Hi everyone! My name is Erin, and I’m a third-year Animal Biology student at the University of Guelph. I’m incredibly excited to be starting my third year with CPVMA as one of the co-presidents! In the future, I hope to attend OVC for my DVM and specialize in veterinary surgery, with the goal of working with wildlife all over the world.
When I’m not studying, you can almost always find me working out at the gym or trying new baking recipes in the kitchen. I’ve also been told that I have some pretty interesting music taste, so if you’re ever looking for something new to listen to, let me know :) I look forward to working with the amazing CPVMA team this year to connect with, encourage, and support pre-veterinary students across Canada!
